Biography
Rakul Preet Singh was born on 10 October 1990 in Delhi. She completed
her primary education from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan. She was a
student of Mathematics at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.
She is an active golf player and also played nationals. She has done
modeling for two years and then entered Miss India finals.
Rakul has
made her acting debut with the Kannada movie "Gilli". Later she
continued her career with Telugu and Tamil movies as well. She has made
her
bollywood debut with the flim "Yaariyan".

Career
Rakul Preet Singh started her career with modeling and later enrolled in
films. This glamorous doll was first appeared in South Indain films and
gained popularity. She has also participated in Miss India finals and
has gained several titles. She is now ready to enlarge her career
boundaries and set to make her debut with a bollywood film "Yaariyan".
She has also participated in Miss Tourism in China and rose to the sixth
position in the international pageant.
In Shimla Mirchi Movie
Yaariyan actress Rakul Preet will be seen as daughter of Hema Malini in
Ramesh Sippy's next film titled Shimla Mirchi. The movie is unusual and
that Rakul is excited about the film. It is a romantic comedy and
according to the reports, its story is about how a single mother (Hema
Malini) and her daughter fall in love with the same man, essayed by
Rajkummar Rao.
Saloni in Yaariyan
"Yaariyan" featured Miss India 2011 Rakul Preet Singh as one of the lead
opposite Himansh Kohli. She has played the character name Saloni in the
movie. The movie is directed by Bhushan Kumar's wife Divya Kumar
Khosla. It is about five college friends and she is one of them. Rakul
has done an appropriate and justified job with her character.
